Aisling Bea

Aisling is an Irish-born comedian that has been in the business for quite a while. Born in Kildare, Ireland, on 16th March 1984. Bea was on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh or Aisling "Bea" is an Irish actor as well as a writer. She was born on the 16th of March 1984. Bea started appearing as bit roles on Irish or British TV programs in the year 2009, made her debut as an stand-up comic in 2011. As early as 2012, Bea was appearing on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. After winning an award in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to be booked regularly for numerous panel shows for which she has become a fixture. Between 2016 and 2017 she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats' team, as well as a participant on the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She was born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan, she was blessed with one sister named Sinead. She was in 2012 the second female to be awarded the So You Believe you're Funny award. Bea Her maiden name, which is her birth name, was a tribute to her late dad. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. Her father Brian was an equine veterinarian who took his own life at the age of three. Bea was three years old, though she did not know how he died until she reached the age of 13. To honor her dad, she chose the stage-name Bea and, in the year 2017, published an article on suicides in her family for The Guardian. Bea (and her younger sister Sinead) were brought up in the same home as Helen Moloney, who was a school educator and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. Her parents were obsessed by racing and horses. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that racing wasn't the right fit for her.
